Project Summary
During the COVID- 19 pandemic, we were approached to create design assets for the Cairns Airport COVID-19 signage campaign, a project collaboration with Cairns Airport and Tourism Tropical North Queensland.
Tropical Tourism North Queensland supplied us with beautiful imagery to incorporate into the signage, however, all creative copy and design were completed in-house. The assets we created, including floor stickers and creative signage, were successfully implemented throughout the airport and have proven to be extremely effective in politely enforcing social distancing. The COVID-19 Signage Campaign is a great example of out-of-the-box marketing, demonstrating that effective marketing shouldn’t be pushing an audience, but guiding them in the desired direction.
We are humbled that the Cairns Airport COVID-19 Signage Campaign has been included in the vault of the Queensland State Library COVID-19 Time Capsule.
