Project Summary

Opened in 1988, the Jack Barnes Boardwalk is a vital piece of Cairns Airport infrastructure. The mangrove wetlands that surround the Jack Barnes Boardwalk have immense environmental, indigenous ecological-social-cultural, educational, and tourism purposes.

To celebrate the reopening of the Jack Barnes Boardwalk, Cairns Airport employed the services of Bang Media to create a short documentary-style video highlighting the importance of the restoration, including interviews with important individuals connected to the project.
